The Bloomfield Public Library was dedicated on August 13, 1913. It was initially named the Carnegie Library, after its benefactor, Andrew Carnegie, who gave $10,000 to build it.

Mutchler Center

The Mutchler Community Center now offers members a new cardio room. MCC received a $7,500 grant from the Davis County Foundation in December 2006 to help finance the room. The Mutchler Community Center Commission funded the remainder of the $20,000 project.

Cemeteries

The City of Bloomfield is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the I.O.O.F. Cemetery and the Bloomfield South Cemetery. The Bloomfield City Council serves as Commissioners for the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
