| The Bloomfield Streets Department is responsible for maintaining the 126 miles of streets within the City. This includes street painting, sweeping, signage and year round surface maintenance of the streets. During the winter months a vast amount of time is spent in snow removal and spreading a 50/50 mix of salt and sand along with Geomelt on the streets. The department has three full-time employees, Garry Feldmann, Mark Wagler, and Dan Hastings. The City shop is located on Chestnut Street.
