Police Department

Officers patrol approximately 4000 miles per month, while answering an average of 12 calls per day. All of these officers are ILEA certified.

The department participates in the Governor’s Traffic Safety Program (sTEP), and the South Central Task Force. Educational programs offered to the community include D.A.R.E. and the I Pledge Program through the State Alcoholic Beverages Division.
