The Mutchler Community Center was built in 1999 after Glen Mutchler, an area farmer, generously bequeathed $1,000,000 to the City of Bloomfield to establish a recreation center.
MCC totals an area of 18,000 square feet and sports a suspended indoor track, one racquetball court, a weight-training area featuring free weights, weight machines, and cardio fitness machines, as well as a full-size gymnasium which can be split into two courts. Two meeting rooms and a full sized kitchen are included in the facility.
MCC Hours (due to COVID)
Mondays – Thursdays 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Fridays 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Sundays 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Closed Sundays in the summer starting Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Membership Prices – Effective January 2020

Punch card (12): $50.00
Small Meeting Room: $20.00/hr
Large Meeting Room: $50.00/hr for the first 3 hours; $25/hr thereafter
Half gym: $40.00/hr
Full gym: $80.00/hr
Facility rental: determined per event; generally around $100/hr
Large parties will be charged a $25 janitorial fee. (These prices are for the large meeting room only. You will be charged accordingly if your party wishes to use other areas of the facility. If your party goes past the scheduled rented time, please be considerate of our employees and the Center by contacting the front desk and making additional arrangements. You will be charged an additional $20/hr on all rentals past the scheduled closing time.)
